Normally the Hungaroring is set to be the second most boring race after Monaco - but this year´s edition was very entertaining because of collisions,bad or wrong timed pit stops, a lot of radio discussions between the drivers and the pit wall …… Finally Lando Norrios had to give back the lead to Oskar Piastri who won his first race. Lewis Hamilton climbed the podium for an impressive 200th time…..  Not even Max Verstappen who was flying over Lewis...

British weather over all four days of the event with rain, cold and some sunshine helped to creat a dramatical race weekend in Silverstone. Three British drivers ( Russel, Hamilton and Norris) startet from the best positions in the race on Sunday. Russel was lading at the beginning but had not chance to hold the two McLarens of Norris and Piastri. Two times writing decisions for their pit stops cost Mc Laren a possible 1 -2 and made Lewis Hamilton a winner again...

Lando Norris starts from pole position, Max as second but both are passed by surprise by George Russel in corner 1! An exciting race was won by Max Verstappen finally ahead of Lando Norris and Lewis Hamilton who celebrated a comeback on the podium after quite a while. Charles Leclerc won a dramatic qualifying on Saturday infront of Oskar Piastri and Carlos Sainz, Norris, Russel, Verstappen, Hamilton, Tsunoda, Albon and Gasly….. which was the exact order as well after Sunday´s race without any passing in the top ten…. While the race itself was a very boring parade the first start had some action: on the way to the casino Perez and Magnussen ran out of space and took Hülkenberg as well out of the race. Max Verstappen was fighting with his Red Bull during all three free practice sessions and was off the circuit for a view times ( as many other drivers). Finally for qualifying he found a reasonable set up and thanks to the slip stream of Nico Hulkenberg he tool the pole position. Both McLarens were very strong all weekend long as the Ferraris startet from top and fell back… A boring race because of the old fashioned circuit where overtaking is not easy developed...

Max Verstappen climbed on the winner position twice in Shanghai: He won the sprint race on Saturday in front of Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso and the main race on Sunday in fron of Lando Norris and Checo Perez. Ther Ferraris of Leclerc and Sainz finished 4th and 5th in front of PIastri, Russel, Alonso, Hamilton and Hülkenberg. The local hero of the event was Guyan Zhou who had his first home Grand Prix. 

Many fans and all drivers were waiting to come back to once of the old school and traditional tracks - but at the end Suzuka produced a very boring race …. The two Red Bulls of Max Verstappen and Checco Perez dominated the qualifying and race.
