Many fans and all drivers were waiting to come back to once of the old school and traditional tracks - but at the end Suzuka produced a very boring race …. The two Red Bulls of Max Verstappen and Checco Perez dominated the qualifying and race. The race behind Red Bull was won by Carlos Sainz in fron of his Ferrari teammate Charles Leclerc in front of the Mercedes powered drivers Norris , Alonso, Russel, Piastri and Hamilton as 9th. The last worldchampionship point went to local hero Yuki Tsunoda. The management of the tires was the main thing in this race and kept some fans awake in front of their TVs…. The next event will be the Chinese GP in Shanghai - it might be an interesting race as there will be a sprint race, almost no time to prepare and a circuit where F1 did not race for 5 years….
