14th victory for Max in 2022 in Mexico City

Worldchampion Max Verstappen dominated the weekend in Mexico City: from pole position he led the race all way and won. Lewis Hamilton as 2nd and George Russel as 4th had the best performance since a long time but got the wrong tyres - while Max and most of the field used soft - medium both Mercedes were on medium - hard ….. Local hero Sergio Checo Perez finally finished 3rd because of a very long pitstop but was very happy to be on the podium in front of the crazy Mexican crowd and he passed Charles Leclerc and is now 2nd in the world championship with two more races to go. Ferrari were slow all weekend as were Aston Martin.
